bloglines filter
This is a greasemonkey script to filter out bloglines blogs that have no articles in them currently. This is useful if you have a long list of blogs, and many (or some) are empty. And, of course, they are just removed from view, not removed from your list.
If you're wondering, there has to be a link at the top, because they use some javascript to fill in the list of blogs. So, by the time my script gets to run, these haven't been filled in.
In its current form you need to be running greasemonkey on firefox. If you know how to install these, here is the script.
Usage
Once installed, here's how you use this thing.
- Whenever you visit your bloglines page will see a Filter link at the top of the left (stage right) pane.
-
Clicking this will remove all blogs with zero posts. Here is an
example of with and without (i.e. after and before).
Note: All the blogs removed from view.
Installation
To use you must be running greasemonkey on firefox. So, I'll mention both.
- Install firefox.
- Install greasemonkey.
- Go to the link bloglinesfilter.user.js a click the Install button in the upper right. If you don't see this button you haven't installed greasemonkey correctly -- in which case return to step #2.
