Nothing too interesting going on now. I'm wearing shorts, it's a bit chilly, but it's spring, and I refuse to wear pants. Hopefully, I'll get boarding a bunch before the season's over -- assuming it's not already over. Thought I'd say something. I'm also wearing a hat now.

Further, a person who slept through most of it. Thanks. You would think in a profession which is based on being criticized, people would know how to dole out criticism constructively. I guess not.

So, if anyone wants to hear about the application of functional languages to hardware description, come to Forsyth 126 at Northeastern tonight at 6pm... whoohoo (blinking denotes sarcasm). Supposedly today is a Jewish holiday, likewise, we had Jewish holiday food in the lab. That was agreeable. So, I can spam people via IM now. I can also get a lot of pseudo-personal information about people over orkut. Combine those = direct marketing spamming, and this is way better than email spam. For one anyone with half a brain can block it, and it's definitely more effective, because everyone will read an IM message, not everyone reads email. Maybe in my spare time? One thing is for sure, we will dominate in trivia tomorrow.

I'm testing the responses I get to random messages to random people. Also to see the likelihood that a sort-of random name is already taken as an IM name. Also to see the likelihood that that person is actually logged in... the results to come... It's not spam... the code is linked off this page... of course the lines aren't random... happy trails.

I'm about to lose my Attack Canada domain name. Long live . Hmmmmmmmmm Better Than Ezra is sold out tomorrow, some other show is tonight, http://attack-canada.org/. we'll see how that goes. Maybe a little boarding at Gunstock (?). We'll see about that, too. I found a kick-ass cereal yesterday which has begun to close the triangle of the three foods: apples, cereal, beer. The cereal is something made from apples, but not rediculuously sweet like apple jacks. Now if I can only bring in the last edge of the triangle and incorporate beer into breakfast. It could be marketed along with Coffee Cereal and Cocoa Pebble coffee filters. That is, the only reason to eat Cocoa Pebbles are to drink the pseudo-milk afterwards -- so why not do it with coffee. On the other hand, why *do* it with cereal, why not have a Cocoa Pebbles filters or a press to make the milk-like substance directly ? ? ? These are the things I've been pondering.

Maybe something to say after a skate... ??? ... I am at an impass, though. I'm making a minidisc, but I need the minidisc to skate. Do I stop recording and take it or wait for it to be over. If I do the former, well that would be ok. But the latter, then I wouldn't have music... hmmmmm... Like I said, maybe I'll have more later. No Mt. Katahdin... Boooooo.
